Worked on SARA rocket.
Next up: - Glass the nose, install the motor mounts, cut the fin tabs and glass the fins. At the same time, we'll glass the "exposed crayon". We also need to mount rail-button backer boards in the motor mount and the lower body tube. Kris is also planning on starting to Bondo the glass weave.
Worked on SARA rocket.
- Roy and Kris hot-wired the Nose Cone. Kris and Joyce assembled the nose cone assembly. It will be glasses next Saturday.
- Fin Can was slotted using our new experimental universal slotting jig. Worked ok, but some tweaks will make it better.
- Ken cut the exposed Crayon tubes, e-bay tube, and Nose Cone stop tube.
- Kris cut the motor mounts into the centering rings (75mm).
