Added stabilizing cross-beam on nosecone rig that accidentally fell off and clocked Roy in the head, he ended up being ok after being slightly dazed. Jay & Kris re-secured the beam with screws and continued to create our own snowstorm in the shop; aka, nosecone sandpaper shaping with Roy (newly outfitted with his hardhat & mask) at the drill turn-contraption. The centering dowel became a bit unstable due to the drill vibrations, so Roy & Jay decided to add expandable foam to secure it in the nosecone. Jay rounded out the rest of the nosecone and with Kris glued the nosecone to the nose shoulder. Kris finished off the nosecone by patching up any areas had gaps with epoxy. Temporarily placed some nails to secure the nosecone to prevent it from slipping when drying.

Checked the dried fin can and dry fitted with body tube. Found that the fin slots were a little short, so had cut the finslots make the bottom centering ring flush with the body tube. Decided to put off gluing until 8/21 when Ken was available.
